# ROKO Name Service

ROKO Name Service provides ROKO-local, ENSv1-compatible `.roko` names on testnet
chain ID 52370. The chain is authoritative. The public web application is static.

Important:
- `.roko` is local to ROKO-aware applications; do not claim global Ethereum ENS resolution.
- Public beta registration accepts ASCII labels of 3–63 characters.
- Reverse names are display metadata and must be forward-confirmed.
- Always keep the resolved hexadecimal address visible before signing.
- Contract addresses are valid only when `/config.json` reports `status: verified`.
